GAME ACTVITIES :::
Situated in the Matusadona National Park, Spurwing Island is ideally situated to offer a wide range of game viewing activities.

Game viewing options incorporate both the water (by boat) and land (by foot and by vehicle) to ensure that our guests have access to some of the finest game and bird viewing in the country.

The Matusadona National Park :::
Hosts a good population of all large predators such as lions, cheetah and leopard, making the sighting of these large predators a regular and exciting experience.

Is an intensive protection zone for the endangered black rhino and fortunate sightings are made of these rare animals on foot and by vehicle.

Resident in the park are good elephant populations always present on the lake shore.

Also numbers of other large animals such as hippo, buffalo, crocodile, impala, kudu, waterbuck, zebra and baboon occur. Linked with these are a host of smaller animals
